Here`s another great article:
My 6 month old chi has just been diagnosed with patella luxation in both back legs and I'm not ashamed to say I'm freaking out a little bit. She's just so little & fragile (to me) & i feel like I want to wrap her in cotton wool and never let her out ever again. The vets have just told me to keep an eye on it for now & she doesn't seem to be in any pain but every now and then she'll do a little skip hop & lift one of her legs for a while as the joint has popped out. I hate seeing her struggle when she's such a happy, energetic little thing. Any advice or real life examples where your dog has it and has lived a happy life? I just need to know she'll still be able to run & snuffle to her hearts content in the future.
