Ideas for keeping a pup occupied in their crate

Here`s another great article:

Hi All

I posted a few weeks back about my puppy (now 13 weeks) struggling with daytime crate training. The main issue is that when she wakes up from a nap, she'll bark and want to be let out (and this is after only an hour in the crate). I'm looking for ideas of ways she can keep herself occupied in her crate. She has chew toys in there but does not seem super interested. I've thought about frozen kongs but we put her in her crate when she's tried so the kong would probably start to melt before she got to enjoy it. Any ideas for toys, treats (ones that we don't need to monitor her use of) that have helped your pups?
