Here`s another great article:

I have an incredibly stubborned 5 year old English Bulldog, which I should have started training much younger. He's not really misbehaved, he just doesn't listen very well.

I have started working on some basic commands like sit, stay, and lie down using some small training treats. I'm having some success until theres the smallest distraction. After a few minutes he even get overly excited about the treats and they become a distraction too.

What are some ways to keep him focused and curb some of the excitement over the treats? Thanks in advance! Any help appreciated.
