Here`s another great article:
We adopted a ~3 month old lab/aussie cattle dog mix and she doesn’t respond to her name, I’ve barely been able to teach her to sit although she might just be doing it anyway as she seems to sit a lot. Any advice on how to train her because she still bites and seems rambunctious?
I seem to be the only one in my family willing to put in the time to train her but I’m gone at work from 6am – 7pm. The rest of the family adopted her as I opted not to go since I wasn’t ready yet after losing my dog of 18 years on October 14. Now they’re talking about giving her back since they clearly didn’t do research on this breed nor are they all that interested in putting in the time and effort.
I don’t want to give her up but I doubt I’ll get any help from anyone else so I’d like to make progress and show that she is trainable to get their buy-in.
