Here`s another great article:
I have a 4 month old shiba inu puppy, and lately it seems like she doesn’t like me as much as other members of my family, compared to the first month after I brought her home. I’m judging this on things like how she gets more excited to see my siblings/parents and is way more bite-y with me, and she used to always nap curled up next to me but lately she’s been doing so with my twin sister. I know it seems kind of petty, but one reason I wanted a shiba inu is because they are known to bond with one owner and be very loyal, so it’s kind of disheartening to do all the work of taking care of a puppy only to feel like she doesn’t like me as much.
My friend that has a dog thinks it has to do with the fact that my sister gives her more treats than I do and the fact that I am the one that sometimes disciplines her and subject her to things she doesn’t enjoy like baths, along with the fact that I have a much more chill/calm/reserved demeanor while my sister is way more extroverted and bubbly. However, I’m not sure I buy that, but any thoughts?
