What is it about dogs that merely instantaneously makes a smile to my face? Don’t get me wrong, “cat-o-nine-tails” have slew of hilarious minutes extremely, but pups just seem to always be doing something fun. In example you hadn’t approximated it, I’m emphatically on #TeamDog – partly due to cat allergies, but mostly exactly due to predilection. I affection bird-dogs of all sizes, from the minuscule little teacup Yorkies to big-hearted ol’ Mastiffs, but I will say I tend to wish a smaller hound, just because they’re more manageable in my opinion.
One of the funniest puppies that I can think of is the dachshund, also known as the “wiener dog” due to their small bodies and elongated torsos which constitute them search a little bit like a sausage with legs. Their bodies are pretty comical-looking, but they were engendered with a purpose – to scent, chase and flush out burrowing swine like badgers, rabbits and other tiny prey. In knowledge, the name “dachshund” is derived from the German message “dachs”( badger) and “hund”( hound/ dog ), literally restating to “badger dog.”
In this Heinz Ketchup commercial for the upcoming Super Bowl, the company decided to make use of the pun involving the dog’s name and literally dressed up several dachshunds as hot dogs, turning them into literal wiener pups. The dogs excitedly run to their handlers, who are all dressed in outfits displaying various categories of Heinz condiments, implying that hot dog and Heinz are a natural pairing. Personally, I adore a good hot dog, but this ad made me want to frolic in that with subject to those used puppies more than anything else.
