Here`s another great article:

I feel super overwhelmed after bringing home a new 4 month old puppy. We have had her for almost 2 weeks now. Since we first brought her home, it has seemed like her previous owner made little/no attempts at house training, crate training, basic obedience, leash training, bite inhibition, etc. I have been spending my days reading up on training since before we brought her home but I am feeling lost. Yesterday she had 5 accidents in the house, all within half an hour of just going outside. She never whines, barks, or scratches to go outside. I turn my back for 5 seconds to put a dish in the sink and there will he pee on the floor. This morning I put a bell up on the door and I hope this will help. Whenever she is excited she bites my clothes, my hands, my legs, my hair, and hard. She is not a small puppy with small jaws either. She is nervous of everyone she meets, and even barks at my parents if they are too far away. We have been working with positive reinforcement and lots of treats but it’s not always easy to keep a positive attitude. It just seems like she is getting worse every day and I don’t know if I can do this. I am worried I bit off more than I can chew with this pup and cry everyday. Any tips/advice/suggestions are more than welcome.
