Don’t bring reinforcement into the dog park?

Here`s another great article:

Got told off for this today. I had food and a pocket tug…. This escalated into a yelling match with the dude we both got pretty stupid. Find myself in waaaay too many arguments at the dog park. He couldn’t call his dog back for shit….

But curious, what’s your interpretation of the etiquette?

is it my responsibility to not bring rewards like food and tugs into a dog park or your responsibility to train and proof your dog against that stuff.

Funny part is, if he had told me off for using my clicker I would have completely agreed with him.
