Here`s another great article:
Our dog, Scout, a ~60lb pit lab mix, refuses to let our cat play. If he does anything even remotely energetic, involving toys, or basically anything involving him moving quickly, Scout will snap at him or chase him across the room, or get in between him and the toy, or just run up on him and scare him and he won't play.
If we hold her back, she cries, barks, whines, is just a general pain in the ass.
She doesn't play with her own toys, she barely likes to be active, and kind of has a bum leg. She stays whenever I command her to in like every other situation. She's generally well behaved.
Does anyone have any advice? I can answer any questions as well if that would help.
