Here`s another great article:

We adopted our catahoula/Aussie mix in January. She is about 6 months old now and since I’m able to work from home (and able bring her into the office when I need to go in) she’s not on her own a lot. We do crate her when we have to leave the house for a couple hours and she does fine. I’ve been taking her to a daycare once a week just for socialization and getting used to the place where we will be boarding her for our beach trip in June. She loves it there so that’s a plus. This weekend I’m leaving her overnight for a test run. Not sure if it’s just because I’ve grown so attached to having my little friend around, but I’m a nervous wreck! I’m so worried that she will get anxious about not coming home at night and think we forgot about her. Is this normal? Or am I crazy?! 😂
