Bite inhibition not working? Help please.

Here`s another great article:

My 5 month old puppy, an Indian breed, started biting when she was around 3.5 months. She is very sweet and lovely, but bites a lot. I have tried yelping and withdrawing my hand, leaving the room for a few seconds when she bites a little too much, distracting her, giving her something to chew on etc. Iave consistently done this for almost two months and there is no improvement. Me and my family get hurt a lot especially in the hands and ankles. People tell me she will grow out of it, but I see no signs. Also some people suggest we beat her, which I am dead against and something I will never do. Help me please. Am I doing something wrong? It's difficult to even train her or pet her when all she wants to is to bite. Thanks.
