Here`s another great article:
Hi, I’m looking for advice on which crates are best for cars? I have a jetta so the crate would have to fit on my back seat / fit through the door (and secured with straps). It’ll stay in my car and will be removed weekly for cleaning. My dog comes to the gym with me in the mornings and we do daily adventures to the beach, park, hikes. I want her to be safe and secured in the car in the event of an accident. I’d prefer crate over seatbelt just for safety but I’ll take any advice.
My dog is a Malinois x terrier mix and weighs a densely muscled 37lbs. At home she has a medium sized wire crate that fits her comfortably. She can stretch all the way out but she usually curls up in a ball.
