Aggressive barking when puppy is confined and can see me

Here`s another great article:

I have a 11 month old Corgi puppy and I'm trying to break him from a habit where he has this aggressive bark when he's confined to a space and unable to get to me. Examples includes when he has to go into his crate when I leave for work and he sees me walk by (I forgot something like my wallet) or when I take the trash outside (he runs to the window and starts this barking). My dog is not aggressive in the slightest, but I want to break him of this habit that can be seen as intimidating. It feels like its an attachment thing but I can't figure out how to break this. Any help or direction?
