Here`s another great article:
Oscar has been asleep in the crate for 30 minutes now.
He was getting wound up & starting to chew/rip a part a duvet, so I grabbed an edible chew that would last him at least 30 minutes to settle him, and put him in the crate with it, hazar! Quiet….
As soon as he finished his chew he sat for 5 minutes watching me on the sofa, I didn’t make eye contact with him at all.
He then started yipping, whining and chewing the crate which lasted for 10 minutes, he then lay down and was still awake but quiet for a further 10 minutes before finally falling asleep.
My next challenge is leaving the room without him getting wound up because he wants to follow me but can’t!
