Here`s another great article:
After lurking so many posts on here, I finally decided to make one of my own. I have a 14 week old female french bulldog puppy that I've had for 3 weeks. This is my first time raising a puppy on my own so I'm pretty overwhelmed with everything. My problem is that she's been peeing in her crate at night for the past couple of nights and I'm not sure why. Her crate is in my room so everytime I hear her moving around a lot I will take her to her pee pad to pee. She would occasionally have an accident in her crate the first week and a half but they were probably my fault for waiting too long to take her out. There have been multiple nights where she has slept through the night and didn't need to go potty, so I feel like at this point she should be able to hold it longer. We usually go to bed around 10:30 and wake up at 6 or sometimes even earlier. I usually get up to take her to potty around 12am and 2/3am. Last night, I woke up at 2 because I heard her, but she had already peed. I put a towel over her bed and when I woke up she had peed again. I make sure to wash her bed and clean her crate with Natures Miracle but I feel like I'm kind of at a loss. Should I just set an alarm every couple of hours? I just feel at 14 weeks she should be able to hold it a little longer than that. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
